Bailey's Treasure Box

In Memory of Bailey Rocha
Feb. 25, 1999-Nov. 13, 2007

Bailey was only four-years-old when diagnosed with leukemia. During her many months in the hospital, Bailey spent much of her time handing out goodies. Sometimes she shared her candy, other times she would give away some of her own personal treasures. It was her mission to share God's love with the other children and to make every child smile. She was a precious little girl who took great joy in giving to others despite her four year battle with cancer. Comforting Kids Foundation has chosen to continue her "legacy of giving" through Bailey's treasure box.

Bailey's Treasure Box provides comforting items to children in our local communities who are facing long-term or, in many cases, a terminal illness. Childhood illness is a challenge in itself and can be very stressful on a family's budget. Bailey's Treasure Box has provided items such as a portable DVD player for a young man struggling through his cancer treatments, and a gaming system for a young girl that needed to keep her range of motion. Through distraction and entertainment these items help ease the pain. Along with Comforting Kids, Bailey's Treasure Box is passionately committed to be a continued source of comfort, hopefulness and joy.
